"No Excuse" Eagle Scout Program
We Love Kempo has created the FREE "No Excuse" Eagle Scout Program for the Boy Scouts of America with the hope of helping more Scouts attain the rank of Eagle Scout. As with the Boy Scouts of America, Martial Arts is a powerful vehicle through which young people develop physical fitness, leadership ability, and a multitude of life skills. Additionally, We Love Kempo founder Brian Colwell is a third-generation Eagle Scout with a personal mission to give back to the organization that did so much to assist in his personal development and business success. Let us help your Scouts succeed!

Merit Badge College
The Merit Badge College helps Scouts take control of their journey to Eagle Scout. Mr. Colwell works with each Scout to develop a strategy for achieving short and long-term goals and being accountable for results. Scouts have found the "No Excuse" Eagle Scout program both fun and informative, making it a great addition to any Scout's current activities. Plus, We Love Kempo founder Brian Colwell is an Eagle Scout with a family history of involvement in Boy Scouts of America, so he understands the demands currently placed on a Scout's schedule and is flexible in tailoring the program to each Scout's individual needs.
Each Scout may choose from the following list of merit badges. Scouts develop a strategy for completing their desired merit badges in the Merit Badge College and check in weekly with Mr. Colwell to review their progress. (Eagle Scout required merit badges are listed in Bold below.)

Martial Arts Leadership Training
In addition to the Merit Badge College, Scouts receive FREE private and group instruction at our Martial Arts studio in Sabre Springs for up to three months. This includes a free uniform, belt, and studio patch and there is no obligation to continue training after the free period. Some Scouts are able to achieve the rank of Yellow belt in this time frame. The philosophies for achieving Eagle Scout and Black Belt are very similar. Mr. Colwell combines the discipline and focus of Martial Arts with the Scout Oath and Law, making training time for the Scouts highly productive on multiple levels.
