Bring your completed application and entry fee to the studio no later than Friday, September 24th.
Divisions:
Divisions 1 through 10 will each end with the award of First, Second, and Third Place trophies in sparring and forms competitions. Sumite Kumite will culminate in the announcement of ONE winner and ONE gigantic trophy. Winner takes all!
- Division 1: Ages 5-9 White, yellow, orange
- Division 2: Ages 5-9 Purple, blue, blue/green
- Division 3: Ages 10-14 White, yellow, orange
- Division 4: Ages 10-14 Purple, blue, blue/green
- Division 5: Ages 10-14 Green, green/brown
- Division 6: Ages 10-14 Brown, black
- Division 7: Ages 15+ White, yellow, orange
- Division 8: Ages 15+ Purple, blue, blue/green
- Division 9: Ages 15+ Green, green/brown
- Division 10: Ages 15+ Brown, black
- Division SUMO: Sumite Kumite
Special Event: Sumite Kumite!
This fun event for teens and adults will be challenging and hilarious to watch. Only one Kumite warrior will emerge victorious in this Sumo Suit battle. Test your balance and endurance in this tough competition! Non-students are welcome to compete, but each competitor must be 4'6" to safely participate.
Schedule
9am: Divisions 1 & 2 (Ages 5-9, White/yellow/orange and Purple/blue/blue-green)
10am: Divisions 3 & 4 (Ages 10-14, White/yellow/orange and Purple/blue/blue-green)
11am: Divisions 5 & 6 (Ages 10-14, Green/green-brown and Brown/black)
12pm: Divisions 7, 8, 9, 10 (Ages 15+, White/yellow/orange, Purple/blue/blue-green, Green/green-brown and Brown/black)
1pm: Sumite Kumite (Open Rank)
